Passover on sabbath special items.
1) search for chemetz with candle on Thursday. You can’t do it at dark on sabbath, your sabbath candles would have been lit 18 min prior to sunset.
2) burning chemetz has to be done on Friday AM, again due to fire not allowed on sabbath
3) fast of the 1st born is done on Thursday, as it is forbidden to fast on sabbath
4) selling chemetz should be done prior to noon on Friday
5) all prep for foods for passover need to be done prior to sabbaths start -cleaning, putting away chemetz dishes, preparing sedar plate
6) challah for Sabbath – but before pasover begins. Being carefull with challah crumbs. We are not to eat matzah before the Passover seder. Properly disposing crumbs
Note- passover only falls on the following days of the week…Mon, Wed, Fri and Sabbath.
It never falls on Tues, Thurs or Sunday.
For the past few months I have been thanking the creator about ALL the children of Abraham.
As I was walking to work on a Friday AM, I realized that our brothers and sisters who are our relatves through Abraham our father were celebrating “A day of rest”.
See it hit me as i was reminding myself that tonight (Friday) is sabbath. I cannot wait to get home and get ready for sabbath. As i was walking and pondering, I realized that Ishmael is a son and since it is Friday, they are celebrating as Abraham taught them. So every Friday since then I praise the creator, that all of Abraham’s children, Muslim and Jewish celebate – one in the early part of Friday’s and one at sunset on Fridays.
How beautiful!
This is great , has subtitles
I saw this on tv this AM. Great way to wake up!
Watch "Space Force 2 – Walled In" on YouTube<br>
A fast reminder. If you have not sold your chemetz, or your not near a rabbi who does this. You can do this online. Thank Hashem I almost forgot myself. Time is just flying by.
May you have a kosher pesach
