Just a fast post to remind you that today is the 17th of Tammuz… Today starts the 3 weeks of mouning. Please be very careful during these 3 weeks. Many do not swim during this time nor travel. Tragedy and danger are very noticeable during this time.
Chabad.org has information on what has happened on the 17th of Tammuz. Over our history as a Jewish people there are just too many to ennumerate. You can read further on the Three Weeks on their page. It would be under Jewish Practices then find Jewish Holidays. The last day is Tisha B’ Av which is a very sad day. In scriptures it is called “The day of Tears”. That is another fast day.
