Solar Storms, Sun Spots & Scriptures

In the news there are many current articles on solar storms and sun spots leashing CME’s (Coronal Mass Ejection). The most recent is the largest and has caused many places south of the Artic Circle to see beautiful Aroras. (See articles below). Sometimes the CME’s are not headed to earth. However, the last large ones were earth bound.

**

Today I decided to continue reading the commentary book on Isaiah. I left off at chapter 43. So I picked up on my last page. There are no coincidences in life. Look at what the verses were speaking of, sun flames. Which we call CME’s.

Isaiah chapter 43 vs 1 to 3:

And now, so said the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and the One Who formed you, O Israel, ” Do not fear, for I have redeemed you, and I called by your name, you are Mine. When you pass through water, I am with you, and in rivers, they shall not overflow you; when you go amidst fire, you shall not be burnt, neither shall a flame burn amongst you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as yout ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.

The commentary on the above verses 1 to 3:

*”When you passed through water” – through the Red Sea, I was with you.

*”And in rivers, they shall not overflow you” – You dwelt among the Egyptians and the heathens numerous as the waters of a river, and they could not prevail against you to destroy you -[Rashi].

*When you go amidst fire” – In the future, ” For behold, a sun is coming, burning like an oven ( Malachi 3:19); for I will cause the sun to burn upon the wicked, “and the coming sun shall burn them.” “There too, you shall not be burnt – [Rashi from Mid. Psalms 19:13, Genesis 6:6, Ned 8b, where it is not connected with our verse.]

*”A flame” – Which shall burn the heathens (the nations), as it is said: (supra 33:12) And the peoples shall be as the burnings of lime.” That too shall not burn amidst you – [Rashi].

**

Isaiah Chapter 43 vs 4 – 17:

Since you are dear in My eyes, you were honored and I loved you, and I give men in your stead and nations instead of your life. Fear not for I am with you; from the east I will bring your seed, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, “Give”, and to the south, “Do not refrain”; bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the end of the earth.” Everyone that is called by My name, and whom I created for My glory, I formed him, yea I made him. To bring out a blind people, who have eyes, and deaf ones who have ears. Were all the nations gathered together, and kingdoms assembled, who of them would tell this or let us know of the first events? Let them present their witnesses, and they shall be deemed just, and let them hear and say, “True.” “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “and My servant whom I chose,” in order that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me no God was formed and after Me none shall be. I, I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. I told and I saved, and I made heard and there was no stranger among you, and you are My witnesse,” says the Lord, “and I am God. Even before the day I am He, and there is no saving from My hand; I do, and who retracts it?” So said the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, ” Because of you, I sent [you] to Babylon, and I lowered, them all with oars, and Chaldes in the ships of their rejoicing. I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

The commentary on the above verses 4 to 17:

*”Becase of you, I sent you to Babylon” – [Jonathan] paraphrasees: because of your sins I exiled you to Babylon.

*and I lowered them all with oars – [Jonathan] renders: And I lowered with oars all of them Denotes the wood that guides the ship and straighten’s it out – [Rashi]

*your king – He is indeed your King, and He will not leave you in the hands of the kings of the nations. – [Redak]

The 1st two of the 10 Utterances (AKA 10 Commandments) were heard by everyone who stood at the foot of the mountain (Mount Sinia). They asked Moses to tell them #3 to #10.

  1. I am the Lord Your God
  2. You shall have no other gods before me.

This is the Lord, The Creator of All, the Holy One blessed be He. If you seek other gods (small “g”) you are breaking the 2 commandment.

Isaiah commentary on chapter 42 vs 8:

This is My name alone, Although the heathens use the name Elohim (Creator, Power, God) for their deities, this name they cannot share with Me, for I am the Master over everything, and I will no longer give My glory to another as I have done until now, that I did not execute judgment upon the wicked, for which reason they did not recognize Me but followed their idols. After I take Israel out of exile and perform many wonders for them, all nations will recognize Me, that there is none other besides Me, as Malachi prophesies: “(Malachia 3:19) And all the arrogant and all that work wickedness, shall be like stubble, and the coming sun shall set them ablaze etc” [Redak].

*To bring out of the exile those who am were exiled because they became like blind; although they had eyes, they did not see [Rashi verses chapter 43 (18 to 20).

**

Isaiah commentary on chapter 42 vs 20 – Redak explains it in the future tense: You will witness many troubles, but you will not take them to heart, thinking, “Why have these troubles befallen us?” Your eyes see, but they are like blind, since you do not watch your way. Your ears are open, but no one shall listen. No one will listen, to return to the good way.

Time to Pray for Dew for Israel

Based on the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet grown; for G‑d had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not yet a man to work the land.

And there arose a mist from the earth, and watered the surface of the land.

Genesis 2:5–6

In the land of Israel, the rains are confined to the half-year from Tishrei to Nissan (roughly, October to March). This six-month period is therefore referred to by the Talmud as the “Season of Rains” (yemot hageshamim), while the six months from Nissan to Tishrei (April–September) are called the “Season of the Sun” (yemot hachamah).

The calendar is more than a measure of time; it is a cycle that charts our inner life and our relationship with our Creator. And this spiritual cycle is comprised of two basic parts: a Season of the Sun, and a Season of Rains.

A Rising Mist

Sunlight and rain are both critical to the sustaining of life on earth. Indeed, there is a certain similarity in the manner in which these two sources of nourishment are bestowed upon us—both rain down upon the earth from above, drenching it with energy or moisture. In both cases, we seem passive recipients to a showering of blessing from the heavens.

But a closer examination reveals a significant difference between them. While sunlight is a unilateral gift from above, rain originates as moisture which rises from the earth, forms clouds, and returns as lifegiving waters. So the earth is not, in truth, a passive beneficiary of the rain falling from the heavens; it is she who generates it in the first place, raising columns of mist from her oceans and lakes to water the soil of her landmasses.

The earth, of course, could not do this on her own. It is the sun who stimulates the release and ascent of her watery stores; it is the sun who causes the weather patterns which carry them through the atmosphere and impel them earthward. In other words, the sun, ultimately, is the force behind both sunlight and rain. But the sun’s nurturing of life on earth takes two forms: a) nourishment which the earth simply absorbs from her benevolent provider, such as the sun’s light- and warmth-purveying rays; b) nourishment, such as rain, which the earth generates herself, with the sun serving as the catalyst that wakens her potential for self-nurture and assists in its realization.

All of the above also applies to the miniature world that is the soul of man. Here, too, there is sunlight and rain; here, too, the soul is dependent for both upon her sun, yet differs in her relationship with these two purveyors of her nourishment.

Ultimately, everything we possess, including our potential to initiate and create, is granted us from Above. Yet G‑d sustains our inner lives in two ways: a) with direct and unilateral bestowal of enlightenment and experience (sunlight); b) by enabling and assisting us to gravitate upward in our own search for truth and meaning in life, and thereby generate a spiritual nurturing of our own making (rain).

Both divine gifts are crucial to the spiritual life of the soul. On the one hand, we recognize our inherent limitations. We understand that if there is to be anything that is absolute and transcendent in our lives, we must open ourselves to a higher truth—a truth to which we can relate only as a wholly passive recipient, for it is beyond anything we could possibly generate by ourselves.

At the same time, however, human nature dictates that we identify more with what we ourselves have achieved: that something earned is more appreciated than a gift, that an idea independently conceived is more meaningful than a teaching from the greatest master. That for an experience to become real to us—for it to be grafted into our nature and personality—it must stem from within.

The real or the ideal? Mine or more? We need them both. Indeed, the tension between these two needs is crucial to our growth in all areas—intellectual, emotional or spiritual.

Seasons of the Soul

In the cycle of the Jewish year, the six months from Nissan to Tishrei are the Season of the Sun, and the Tishrei to Nissan months are our Season of Rains.

During the Season of the Sun, we celebrate and re-experience the great unilateral acts of divine involvement in our destiny: the Exodus on Passover, when G‑d descended to Egypt to take for Himself a nation from the womb of a nation, amidst trials, signs, wonders and battles; the giving of the Torah on Shavuot, when G‑d came down on Mount Sinai to grant us His blueprint for life and our charter as His kingdom of priests and holy nation.

The Season of Rains, on the other hand, is a half-year characterized by human endeavor and initiative. The month of Tishrei—the month of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and the Ten Days of Repentance—is a time of teshuvah, of soul-searching and self-improvement. The “Season of Rains” also contains the two rabbinical festivals of the Jewish year—Chanukah (25 Kislev to 2 or 3 Tevet) and Purim (14 Adar). Unlike the biblical festivals, which were unilaterally commanded by G‑d, these are humanly initiated festivals, instituted as our response to the milestones in our relationship with G‑d which they commemorate.

Another winter festival is the New Year of Chassidism, celebrated on the 19th of Kislev. The teachings of Chassidism emphasize the need for intellectual appreciation and emotional experience in our fulfillment of the divine commandments (as opposed to mere mechanical observance). Chassidism thus belongs to the “rainy” area of our spiritual lives—our capacity for involvement and initiative in our relationship with G‑d.

Sometimes More, Sometimes Less

The Jewish calendar is based upon the lunar cycle, with the beginning of each month falling within a day or two of the new moon. Since the moon completes its orbit of the earth every 29.5 days, the Jewish month alternates between 29 and 30 days. A 30-day month is called a malei (full month), and a 29-day month is called a chasser (lacking month).

Generally speaking, the months follow a set pattern: Nissan is always full, Iyar always lacking, Sivan full, Tammuz lacking, and so on. However, two months, the months of Cheshvan and Kislev (the second and third months after Tishrei), have no fixed length: in certain years both are full, in other years both are lacking, and in others still, Cheshvan is lacking and Kislev is full.

In other words, the summer months are fixed and unvarying, while the months of the Season of Rains are subject to changes and fluctuations.

In this, too, our calendar reflects the dynamics of the seasons of the soul. The “sunlight” aspect of our spiritual lives is fixed and unvarying. When we surrender ourselves to a higher truth, we also surrender our human frailties and inconsistencies. We surrender to what is infinite, perfect and unequivocal, and what we receive is likewise infinite, perfect and unequivocal.

But when we turn to our “rainmaking” self, our initiatives and achievements are subject to the rises and falls of a finite, imperfect self. This is a season with fluctuating months, sometimes lacking, sometimes full, reflecting the vacillating nature of everything human.

Therein lies the weakness of our rainy season, as well as its strength. By all objective criteria, this is the lesser half of our internal cycle, plagued by the instabilities and deficiencies of the human state. But it is also our more flexible half, where a lack might be transformed into a gain and a vulnerability exploited as a source of blessing.1

15 Things to Know About Elijah the Prophet

After the close of Sabbath when we have finished the havdala. What is the Havdala?

In the siddur there is a havdala prayer. You use a 6 wicked candle, a cup of red kosher wine or kosher grape juice(Welch’s is not kosher) a cup of water and a bowl to put the candle out in the left over wine/grape juice. There are special spices to smell. I will post that full havdala prayer on another post.

Anyway, the havdala is completed and some people sing about Elijah the prophet, Elijah the Tishbite (FromTishbe).

Note in the Christian bible, the book of John. The people ask John “If he is Elijah, the one we are awaiting?”. John says “NO!”

Please dear sisters and brothers, this is one of many proofs that Jesus was NOT the messiah (moshiach).

The prophet Malachi says, “Behold I will send to you Elijah the Prophet before the arrival of the great and awesome day of G‑d.”

Miryam the Child Prophetess

I have been reading from Chabad.org on Miryam, oldest sister of Aaron and Moses. This is a compulation from all the articles plus scriptures.

*

At a very young age Miryam was a prophetess. By the age of 5 she informed her parents that they would give birth to a son, who would be the Hebrews’ redeemer.

By age 6 she informed her father, Amram, (Grandson of Levi, son of Partiarch Jacob) that since he separated from his wife, her mother, Yocheved (Also known as Shifrah). That he was worse the Pharoah’s decree to kill only males. Miryam (Also identified as Puah) understood at a tender age that her dad being the head of the people, would cause all the men to separate from their wives. Why in the world did he choose this during the Egyptian exile? He thought that since Pharoah (The new king over Egypt), wanted to kill all the baby boys due to Pharoah’s decree; which was brought on by his dream. His magicians, sorcersers and wise men interpretation of the dream, that a male born in Egypt would try to over-throw the Egyptian king. Later on you read that Pharoah also included the baby males of Egyptian women. His Magicians and Scorcerers said it was going to happen in Egypt, period. So not to miss which male baby it was Pharoah’s decree became more zealous. Fear was driving Pharoah.

By Miryam’s prophesy, she showed her dad, that his actions also caused no baby girls to be born. Her father, then took his wife back into the kuppah and publicly married her. This caused all the men (children of Israel) to re-marry their wife’s. Enabling baby’s to be born again through the re-marriages.

*

As time passed, Miryam was the one who brought the women together in song with tambourines. Her courage and valor, were impeccable. (See hyperlink below “The Tambourines of Rebellion”)

Miryam lived a long life: copied from chabad.org calandar, date of Nissan 10. (This year, April 18, 2024):

Miriam’s Passing (1274 BCE)

Miriam, the sister of Moses, passed away at the age of 126 on the 10th of Nissan of the year 2487 from creation (1274 BCE) — 39 years after the Exodus and exactly one year before the Children of Israel entered the Holy Land. It is in deference to her passing that the “Great Shabbat” is commemorated on the Shabbat before Passover rather than the calendar date of the miracle’s occurence, Nissan 10.

***Note: Miryams yarzite, is 4 days before Passover eve begins. The 4th day prior is also when the people of the Exodus, brought a lamb into their homes, tied it to the bed post to observe it for 4 days before the slaughtered lambs blood was put on the door lintels and the spirit of The Creator Passed-Over their homes”. Why lambs? The Egyptians had literally thousands of gods they served. But the true Creator of All, they did not know. By publically roasting the Egyptian Lamb god on an open fire they proved to the people, that the lamb god had no powers and could not save them nor could it save itself.

Today you are hearing that a group of red heifers, from Texas, USA, have been in Israel. This is not the 1st nor 2nd batch sent over the last several years. Online you may find much confusion of the need of a red heifer. The 1st red heifer (Young female cow, never worked, never yoked, and allowed to roam freely) was during Moses time. Since then a grand total of 9 red heifers were used and kosher slaughtered. The 10th and final one will be done during the messianic era.

***There are no coincidences in the world!***

Keeping my eyes and ears opened, listening for the coming of the footsteps of the moshiach.

Bibles -How Many Versions & Which Religions Use Different Ones

Since “reading scriptures” has come up in the media and news, I thought I would share how many types I have read. Yes, cover to cover. Some of the books inside it multiple times. Plus others that I know are out there, but I have not read them.

Catholics have the Catholic Bibles. They have the same as Christian Bibles but they also contain “The account of the chanukah rebellion”, called the book of Maccabees 1 and 2. The kohen’s (Levitical Tribe) were mainly who helped get the Holy Temple back and cleanse the temple from feces, and all sorts of horrible things. Like pig slaughtered on the alter. Statue of Zeus in the Holy of Holies was removed. Plus they also have Neamiah in their Bible. I have read only Neamiah, Maccabee 1 & 2 from this Bible.

Morman bible, I have never read, but I did see it. It starts with the Book of Mormon, Mormon laws and then includes Old Testament and New Testament.

Messianic Jewish have a “Complete book of Messianic Judiasm”. So it is basically a Christian Bible, but Yehoshua is used instead of the name Jesus. Messianic Christianity is not Jewish at all. It just takes the Jewishness of Jesus. They call him Yehoshua. The word Yehoshua, does mean salvation. In Hebrew, the name Yehoshua means Joshua. They totally negate the fact that Joshua (Son of Nun) entered the promised land after 40 years in the desert. That was “salvation”.

TaNaK is Jewish. It stands for Torah, Navium, Keturum. Torah is the 5 books of Moses. Navium is the navi (ium is plural). That is all the prophets. However, Kings one and two, chronicles one and two are considered in the book of prophets. Daniel is in the Keturum. The Keturum is the writings. So Ruth, Esther, Lamatations, Psalms and Proverbs are in that section. Plus some others I did not name.

Christian Bible is the “their version” of the Jewish TaNaK. They call it the old testament. Then they have the New Testament. They do not have Niamiah nor Maccabees 1 & 2.

THEN, the Christian Bible has many versions. KJV NASB, NIV, HNV, NKJV. See below, I copied that from a Christian Bible website.

So saying “read a Bible or scriptures” means much more then you think it does.

Did you know that some households have multiple versions of the bible in their homes.

Yuletide Greetings

For some of my readers it is Yule time. Basically it is a winter time solstice. December 21 to January 1st of the next year.

Others may celebrate Christmas. Which is part of the Yuletide holidays.

I wanted to share that the Catholic church, Pope indicated that Jesus was from 3 BC .

Now let’s break this down…

  • BC meaning is “Before christ”.
  • If Jesus was born before AD 1. He can not be before his birth.

Are you catching what I am saying? I have laid down a time line.

3 BC -> 2 BC -> 1 BC -> (There is no zero!) 1 AD -> 2 AD etc.

So how in the world could anyone, even Jesus, be born before they were ever conceived. Not to mention born!

It cannot happen in time nor space. All things of “being created, by the Creator of All”… have a beginning. Jesus’s beginning can not be before AD 1. This is a total oxymoron.

Please, know what you are following! Do not assume priests, pastors, etc. have the proper information. It is like the game of telephone (For those who were born Before cellphones – just a side joke). As the message is passed down, it gets distorted.

If you are not Jewish, you are a Noahide. (See other posts on Noahides). Neither group are allowed “gods of others. That includes Jesus or any other of the thousands of gods that are or have existed.

Do not follow other gods. It is in the commandments! Some Bibles say “for the true God, is a Jealous God. That is an improper translation of “Jealous”. The word is “Zealous”.

Start the new Gregorian calandar 2024 reading the Bible from the beginning of the book. Genises chapter 1 verse 1. Ask the Creator of All to show you who (proverbial) he is. The Creator is not human. A human, tiny body cannot hold all that the Creator is. Human bodies can only handle “1 Spark” of the Creator.

Be wise! Open your eyes and ears. Look for the True God, the CREATOR OF ALL.

Shalom!

Miryam

In the End… I Will Hasten It!

Remember the verses that speak of “In the end I will HASTEN it!”?

I found it in Isaiah chapter 60… Of course it’s not quite that exact of a statement.. but the concept is there… well I’ve been saying that phrase to myself for over 1 week…. then yesterday I was arguing with G-d about “How much more do we have to take?” “How many more sicknesses?, etc.”!   And it hit me!!!   It’s NOT US that has the PANGS of the Birth of Moshiach….. It is G-d who has it!!!!

(Follow me now)…. IF We ARE INSIDE G-d… including the universe…. and the example of a pregnant women is given… her birth pangs…

(RIGHT… With me so far!)….. And if a baby kicks, does the mother not feel it? Well, then… IF WE ARE KICKING and SCREAMING DOWN HERE FOR G-D’s HELP… IS HE NOT FEELING IT!!!!  The answer has to be yes!  G-d has to be feeling out movements. Our kicking our screaming, our “Bring the spirit of Elijah!”  We need a teacher…. G-d has to be experiencing all of this!   With that said…. as a mother you will get this, a guy may not…. So… your first child is the one who expanded the uterus… but your consecutive children are taller then the first…. Why?  The first child had to expand the uterus… the next children had a larger area to live in… And they also could expand it larger, because they were larger…

(STILL WITH ME)…. The universe is EXPANDING… we are told by scientist all the time recently that its larger then they expected… and the last report… it’s still growing!…. Even Scientist said the “Big Bang” started small and was an expansive item… expanding the universe… IF we say that the Jewish are “G-d first child (son)..” and scriptures is clear about that. What is not clear in the translations of Genesis is that “G-d made gods…”… and that “G-d is Zealous (jealous is wrong translation)… then G-d wanted all peoples to find G-d, even if that is through the other gods that he created. (G-d is still #1 and there is no #2 but not everyone knows the #1 G-d ).. this would bring about zealousness… It’s not about being “Jealous because someone found another god…”..  Also… Scriptures are clear on the fact “MY HOUSE IS THE HOUSE OF PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLES”….  It doesn’t say for the Jewish, or any other specific denomination!”… It’s about G-d having his creation find and love him! …

So recapping….

G-d is “impregnated with the entire universe and all that is in it” and it is expanding.

G-d created all, even other gods… (But it is not translated that way from Hebrew to Torah so that people didn’t get the wrong idea).

G-d feels our birthing pangs, ready for us to be born

G-d’s (Proverbial) uterus is in an ever expanding situation

Now how do you like that Revelation!

It knocked my socks off me!!!

John in the New Testament: John 1 vs 21: They asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” And he *said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”

Do you know why the Jewish were asking this question??? The reason is that we know that Elijah has to come before the Messianic Era. My best, personal understanding it that he was a Kohen, he also would know all the items that are part of the Torah and what is all the “Fences” that have been put around the Torah to help keep it pure. With that said, I’m quite sure we will need someone to teach all of us, what G-d would like and what G-d feels is “fences”. (IMHO)

Side Note #1 – If you ever get a chance, read or re-read Isaiah chapters 40 to 66 this is the “Comfort My People” section. Many items in here speak of the Messianic Era. Also read Jeremiah and the other 12 prophets.  The “old” Testament is alive and well, it is not dead, and many items still have not been fulfilled yet. Time will tell as things unfold. Do not think of this as the “end” but as a “NEW BEGINNING”.

Side Note#2 – Never trust anyone who speaks of things, without showing proof of scriptures. Do not accept “I think” or “I feel”… if your Pastor, Priest, Rabbi, etc says this… RUN Do not walk away! Run away, find another place to worship.

Jewish “Leap Month” – Adar 2 Has Begun

The Hebrew calendar has a “Leap Month”, this is due to the fact that it is based on both the Solar (sun) and Lunar (moon) and how they go across the sky.

The added month is called “Adar 2”. Since Adar 1 was so early in the seasons we wait for Adar 2 so that “Spring” is at the proper time for celebrating Passover. This is stated in scriptures to Moses from Hashem.

In Exodus 12:

This month shall be to you the head of the months;

to you it shall be the first of the months of the year.

This is the “Religious calendar”, where Rosh Hashanna is the “Civil Calendar”

Rosh means “Head”

We are further instructed:

Speak to the entire community of Israel, saying,

“On the tenth of this month,

let each one take a lamb for each parental home,

a lamb for each household.

But if the household is too small for a lamb,

then he and his neighbor who is nearest to his house shall take [one] according to the number of people,

each one according to one’s ability to eat,

shall you be counted for the lamb.

You shall have a perfect male lamb in its [first] year;

you may take it either from the sheep or from the goats.

And you shall keep it for inspection until the fourteenth day of this month,

and the entire congregation of the community of Israel shall slaughter it in the afternoon

And they shall take [some] of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel,

on the houses in which they will eat it.

And on this night,

they shall eat the flesh,

roasted over the fire,

and unleavened cakes;

with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

You shall not eat it rare or boiled in water,

except roasted over the fire its head with its legs and with its innards.

And you shall not leave over any of it until morning,

and whatever is left over of it until morning, you shall burn in fire

And this is how you shall eat it: your loins girded,

your shoes on your feet,

and your staff in your hand;

and you shall eat it in haste it is a Passover sacrifice to the Lord.

I will pass through the land of Egypt on this night,

and I will smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt,

both man and beast,

and upon all the gods of Egypt will I wreak judgments I, the Lord.

My Notes:

*************CORRECTION***************  Passover is in Nissan… next Month. Adar 2 gives us an additional month to get ready for Passover. I’m sorry if I caused any confusion!!!!

We have to take notice of the line I posted.  You may take it either from sheep or goats.  So a lamb, 1 year old is not the only choice. Also, the reason for using a lamb was to prove to the Egyptians that “Their Lamb God” was not able to defeat the G-d of the Jewish.  This is really an interesting concept, even in today’s world.  I can’t even imagine being instructed to do this out in the open, and for all of the Egyptian’s to see a lamb, that they regard as holy, being burned head to tail on a fire pit of some form.  It must have taken a lot of courage to do this out where everyone would see it.  Nor can I imagine how upset the Egyptians were.  We have to remember in Genesis, that due to the famine Joseph,  who was 2nd in command in Egypt, was able to get his family (70 people) into Egypt safely and to put them all in Goshen. If your not familiar with the story, I strong ask you revisit it to better understand the story of the Exodus.  Goshen is where the Egyptians kept all their flocks of sheep. The Egyptians were not allowed near their sheep (lamb) God so Joseph had his brothers be the lambs Sheppard. Isn’t G-d just amazing! How all these things play out.  Even at the end when they are crossing the See of Reeds, Moses himself is the one who goes to the body of water where Joseph’s body and tomb/casket was tossed to the bottom of the sea.  Moses called out to Joseph for the waters to give up the grave it made for him, to rise so that Moses could take Joseph out of Egypt and bring him to the promised land and be buried properly there.

Talk about Full Circle!
